2010 Mathematics (2 Unit) HSC Solutions

Here are my solutions to the 2 unit Mathematics HSC. I like Question 10 as an interesting component B question to get the students thinking.

    Nice work! I got a few mistakes when compared to your model answer. Some answers may need your double check:-
    Q4(a)(iii) As Susannah continue only 10Km per week after reaching 10Km in week 13. So will the answer be 201.5Km?
    Q7(a)(ii) t=7pi/12, about 1.8s.
    Q8(a) k is 0.193184734 and then P is about 2.503 E10

    There is a mistake in Q1 (f) with r=-1/3 not 1/3 so there is something wrong with subsitution into formula. Actual answer would be 3/4 instead of 3/2.
